- Present & future of animation at CartoonMaster

The 2nd edition of CartoonMaster will take place in Cardiff, Wales on June 21 and 22 2002. Organised by Cartoon with the support of illustrious partners like the EU´s MEDIA Programme, S4C, ELWA, Education and Culture and France´s Ministry for the French Community, CartoonMaster is an important opportunity for European producers, broadcasters, distributors, studio managers and investors specialised in the animation sector to take stock of the current situation and prepare future strategies and alliances.
The agenda includes a number of important issues like practical advice for producers, the ins and outs of contract negotiation, the all-important rights issue and especially an overview of how to access funding in Europe and beyond.

CartoonMaster will be moderated by «Les Films de La Perrine´s Dominique Boischot and the MRC´s Mike Robinson (UK) and keynote speakers include Theresa Plummer-Andrews (BBC), Florence Canta (France 2), Chris Grace & Rhiannydd Darwin (S4C), Suzanno Schosser (Super RTL), Finn Arnesen (Cartoon Network UK), Sarah Walther, Dominic Schreiber & Marie- Agnes Bruneau (Europe Image International) , Peter Urie (Gullane Entertainment), Marc du Pontavice (Xilam), Stéphane Lieser (Coudert Frères), Martin Hooley (Blue Monkey), Olivier Debande (European Investment Bank), Robin Lyons (Siriol), Pierre Bertand-Jaume (Expand and Canal Plus), Leslie Nelson (DIC), Migel de Jaime (Megatrix), Michael Carrington (Lego), Marco Deitch (Impact) and Christophe Vidal (Coficiné).
