Press accreditation for the MIA Market 2023, unspooling in Rome in October, is now open. Journalists need simply access this page and follow the instructions. Press accreditation is free of charge.

The MIA – International Audiovisual Market is now considered one of the leading international markets in the audiovisual industry. This nineth edition will unfold in Rome over the course of five days, from 9 to 13 October 2023, at Cinema Barberini and in Palazzo Barberini, offering up a programme consisting of pitching forums, showcases, networking events, conferences, workshops and meetings which are aimed at strengthening relations between sector professionals and promoting new collaborations agreements.

The MIA was founded in 2015 and grew in influence following a consolidated joint venture between ANICA (Italy’s National Association of Film, Audiovisual and Digital Industries) and the APA (Association of Audiovisual Producers). It enjoys the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation and ICE- the Agency for the Overseas Promotion and Internationalisation of Italian Businesses. The event is co-funded by Creative Europe - MEDIA and the Italian Ministry of Culture, as well as by the Italian Ministry for Business and Products Made in Italy and the Lazio region, with further backing put forward by prestigious private sponsors.
