Mikael Persbrandt, Michaerl Nykvist, Lena Endre, Fares Fares, Pernilla August, Maria Bonnevie are among the many Scandinavian stars who are going to appear in Simon Staho’s Day And Night (“Dag Och Natt”), which will start filming in Trollhättan on November 10.

Day And Night is the 31-year-old director’s third film, following Vildspor (1998) and Nu (2002) starring Mikael Persbrandt, Erland Josephson and Mads Mikkkelsen. Day And Night was co-written by Staho with Peter Asmussen who also co-wrote Lars von Trier’s Breaking The Waves. The Swedish-Danish co-production is produced by Zentropa, Sonet Film AB, Film I Väst and Hepp Film. Sonet will handle Swedish distribution.
