by Danis Tanovic being held for students at the European School in Brussels. The event is taking place this morning at 10:00 in the cinema at the Italian Cultural Institute. The film won the MEDIA prize from the European Commission in 2002 and this screening is being put on by the Commission and the Italian Cultural Institute, in collaboration with RAI-Cinema, as part of Cinedays, which took place between October 10 and 24, 2003.
The film is a completely European co-production (Belgium, France, Italy, Britain and Slovenia), and was supported by Eurimages and the European Commission, It was the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 2002.
The screening is in Italian and is aimed a students who are studying the language.
