Spanish Screenings on Tour will bring 33 productions to Rome
- As part of the MIA in Rome, the second edition of the event, which is looking for international partners and collaborators, will be held from 9 to 13 October

The second edition of Spanish Screenings on Tour will take place in Rome, as part of the MIA - Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo, from 9 to 13 October. Under the slogan Spanish Audiovisual: Talent and Future, 33 Spanish productions -five projects in development, four films in post-production, four feature films in Market Premieres, twelve trailers for upcoming films in Next from Spain - Comin' Up, and eight films with potential for the sale of remake rights (all listed below) will be screened to the international industry attending the Italian event.
This initiative will showcase Spanish productions at different stages of the market sections, rounded off with the presence of their representatives in the activities organised during the event. The wide range of recent Spanish productions will be complemented by the participation of professionals attending round tables and conferences, and in a series of networking meetings between the Spanish and international audiovisual industries.
Among the titles to be screened in Rome are films in post-production by such auteurial directors such as Lois Patiño (winner of the Berlinale for Samsara [+see also:

Spanish Screenings on Tour is one of the four pillars of Spanish Screenings XXL alongside Spanish Screenings Content (Malaga Film Festival), Spanish Screenings: Financing & Tech (San Sebastian Film Festival) and Spanish Screenings 360, a programme of activities running throughout the year which also includes the creation of the virtual promotion and business platform PLATFO. The initiative includes the creation of an audiovisual market for Spanish-produced content that promotes the exchange and generation of new projects in a context of interaction and business that helps to strengthen the value chain of the Spanish audiovisual industry.
