- Trust Film Sales presents Scandinavian products in Milan: from the completed thriller, The Third Wave by Anders Nilsson, to projects underway, Manderlay, the sequel to Dogville, and Dear Wendy by Vinterberg

The Milanese film and audiovisual market, MIFED is now underway and will be continuing until November 13. There’s a strong Scandinavian presence at the event, including participation by Trust Film Sales, which is putting on an international premiere of Anders Nilsson’s thriller The Third Wave, currently number two at the Swedish box office with gross takings of $1.7m.

The pan-European criminal action film shot in the 24pHD format is the third part of Nilsson’s trilogy, which started with Zero Tolerans in 1999 and followed up with Executive Protection in 2001.
Trust will also have another international premiere at the market in Milan, with Lisa Olin’s second feature film, Seeking Temporary Wife, as well as a sneak-preview of Kristian Petri’s Details. The first film based on texts and plays of Lars Norén, Northern Europe’s most performed playwright, stars Pernilla August and Michael Nyqvist.
Zentropa’s international sales division, headed by Anna Karin Ström, will also open discussions on Lars von Trier's Manderlay [+see also:
