When Delphine (Sophie Colon) gets an anonymous call from her husband’s colleague about him having an alleged affair with one of their adopted children, the mother’s ideal of filial freedom is put to the cruellest of tests. She decides to quietly observe her family for a shred of evidence: anything to allay her fear and erase her doubt. After the truth presents itself in an unexpected, shocking manner, Delphine chooses to look past the blame for a permanent solution.

This is the synopsis of Prague-based Iranian filmmaker Kaveh Daneshmand’s feature debut, a thriller-drama titled Endless Summer Syndrome [+see also:

, which is set to world-premiere in the First Feature Competition of this year’s Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (3-19 November). Besides Colon, the other main cast members in the movie are Gem Deger, Frederika Milano and Matheo Capelli.

Endless Summer Syndrome was produced by Gem Deger, Kaveh Daneshmand, Eva Larvoire, Cedric Larvoire and Jordi Niubo, and co-produced by i/o post (Czech Republic) and Alief (France).

Alief is also selling the picture worldwide.
