New Database set up
The French community of Walloon-Brussels, Edimedia and ASCO have statred up an internet site entirely dedicated to Belgium-Francophone actors.
Cineacteurs.be is a free service for professional actors and actresses from the Walloon-Brussels French community, who are available to work in cinema or on audiovisual projects.
The site already has a list of 100 actors registered, each with a complete listing, including a photograph, detailed CV and contact details. The names include Jean-Henri Compère, Pierre Dherte, Jan Hammenecker, Fabrizio Rongione, Stéphane De Groodt, Christelle Cornil, Serge Larivière, Alexandre Von Sivers and Circé Lethem. Since Belgium law doesn’t allow actors to have agents, the site is a way for these professionals to get their faces and work known via the internet. Cineacteurs.be is aimed both at actors who are invited to register and manage their listing for free, and for producers who are looking for talent.
