Anna Cornudella is a multidisciplinary artist who works primarily as a director and art director. She graduated in film in 2014 from ESCAC and since then she has worked in theater, film and video art. Her work moves between film and science, focusing her interest on the human being, the individual and hierarchical structures within society. All of her projects revolve around bio-art, seeking alternatives and social utopias.

"Finding a bridge between the society that we propose in this film and ours was one of the most important premises, since we intend to reflect on our role as animals within a huge mechanism that is in constant transformation and adaptation, and at the same time, highlight the anthropocentrism in which we are immersed and its consequences," explains Anna Cornudella.

The Human Hibernation is produced by Gerard Rodríguez and Frank Lucas for Japonica Films, and Clara Santaolaya and Pol Cornudella for Batiak Films.
