MIFED 2003 Sweden

Non Stop buys Slim Susie

by

Ulf Malmros’ gangster comedy, Slim Susie, which has sold over 170,000 tickets in Sweden since its October 3rd release, has been added to Non Stop Sales line-up.

The film stars one of Sweden’s hottest actresses, Tuva Novotny, who took part in the Berlinale 2002 Shooting Stars programme and was seen in Joseph Fares’ Jalla Jalla!.
Slim Susie tells the story of a former beauty queen who goes missing and it takes us on a fast-paced ride along the narrow roads of rural Sweden. The film is a co-production between Götafilm and Film i Väst, with support from GöteborgsDramat, MTV Produktion, Sandrew Metronome International and the Swedish Film Institute. Non Stop Sales has showing a trailer of the film during MIFED (November 9-13). Four other films have also had their market premieres in Milan: Daniel Lind Lagerloff’s romantic comedy Miffo, the Norwegian hit Buddy directed by Morten Tyldum, the children’s film Emma And Daniel - The Meeting, and Kjell Grede’s drama Make Belief.
