Ergon triumphs at Namur

The film by Joël Godfroid, Ergon was the big winner at the 25th edition of the Namur Média Festival 10/10, walking off with 4 main prizes. It won the prize as the best documentary short film (€2,500), Best Soundtrack (€2,000), the award for Best Photography and the Grand Media 10/10 prize.
Bonhommes by Cécilia Marreiros Marum, with a special mention awarded to Signé Robillard André by Thibaut Branquart. The prize for the Best Short Fiction Film (€2,500) was given to Rendez-vous by Damien Chemin, while Dominique Wittorski and his film Sans regrets éternels won the prize for the Best Screenplay (€20,000).
The jury was led by Raoul Servais, with participation from Benoît Verhaert, Frédéric Lyoën, Christian Verbert and Marie-Hélène Massin. They also awarded a Special Prize to John Shank for Les mains froides. Finally RTBF gave the “La Deux Tout Court” prize to Un peu de fièvre by Philippe Reypens, and the audience voted to give the Public Prize to Qu’ils se taisent à jamais by Jérôme Noël.
