Written by Dourountzis, the script centres on a father and his daughter; Samuel, a journalist, and Ava, his intern, are covering the murder of a young girl attacked by acid for their magazine. Hit by the brutality of this murder, as well as by his daughter’s curiosity about the case, Samuel decides to lead an independent investigation, unbeknownst to his editor, and discovers troubling similarities with the murder of another woman…

Vultures is produced by Thibault Gast and Matthias Weber for 24 25 Films and by Christophe Delsaux for Oriflamme Films, and co-produced by France 2 Cinéma and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Cinéma. Pre-bought by France Télévisions and by Netflix, the feature will benefit from 34 days of shoot that will take place in the Rhône region, in Savoy and in Paris. International sales are handled by Ginger & Fred and distribution in French cinemas will be organised by Zinc.

As a reminder, 24 25 Films will be launching Barbès, little Algérie by Hassan Guerrar in French cinemas on 16 October (read the article).
