Extraordinary commissioner of the Film Commission Maria Giuseppina Troccoli then detailed the project, which includes a series of educational meetings dedicated to professional opportunities in film and audiovisual. Starting from June, the meetings will be aimed at both young professionals in Lazio and secondary-school students. The initiative will focus on the various professional roles within the audiovisual sector and the emerging new professions that require specific creative and technical skills, thereby offering new job opportunities for the youth in the region.
The first meeting, scheduled for 6 June, will be dedicated to the profession of location manager, with Enrico Latella, an expert with decades’ worth of experience in the field. Another meeting, dedicated to music for moving images, will be held in Ladispoli, and will be led by Franco Bixio and Federico Bisozzi, offering an overview of professions related to musical composition for cinema and TV.
During the press conference, a collaboration agreement between the Roma Lazio Film Commission and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles was also announced. This agreement will allow ten young actors and actresses residing in Lazio to participate for free in the “Two-week Intensive Method Acting” course, thereby enriching their skills in accordance with the Actors Studio method.
