As of 27 May, Alice Douard has been shooting her first feature, Des preuves d'amour (lit. "Proof of Love"). Penned by the director herself, the story revolves around 32-year-old Céline who is awaiting the arrival of her first child. But Céline isn’t actually pregnant. It’s her wife Nadia who’ll be giving birth to their daughter in the three months’ time…
Des preuves d'amour is produced by Marine Arrighi De Casanova on behalf of Apsara Films, in co-production with Les Films de June and France 2 Cinéma. Pre-purchased by Canal+, Ciné+ and France Télévisions, the feature film also enjoys support in the form of an advance on receipts from the CNC, as well as backing from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, the Gironde department, Bordeaux Métropole and the SOFICA companies Indéfilms and Cinécap. The six-week film shoot will unfold in Paris and Bordeaux with Jacques Girault (Sauvage [+see also:
