Apple TV+ unveils the trailer for its first German original series, Where’s Wanda?
- The eight-episode dark comedy show, staged by UFA Fiction, stars Heike Makatsch and Axel Stein in the leading roles
Last week, Apple TV+ debuted the trailer of its first German-language original series. The brand-new show, titled Where’s Wanda?, is a dark comedy being produced by UFA Fiction.
In detail, Where’s Wanda? tells the story of Dedo and Carlotta Klatt (played by German Comedy Award winner Axel Stein and International Emmy Award nominee Heike Makatsch), who are desperate to locate their missing 17-year-old daughter Wanda (Lea Drinda, of The Gryphon), who disappeared months ago without a trace. When the police fail to find her, the family takes matters into their own hands, obtaining surveillance devices with the help of their tech-savvy son Ole (newcomer Leo Simon). Disguising themselves as employees of an electrical company, they first bug their neighbourhood and then half of their suburb, finding out that behind closed doors, none of their neighbours are who they claim to be.
The main cast is rounded off by Nikeata Thompson (How to Dad), Palina Rojinski (Welcome to Germany [+see also:
