- Produced by Sony and Eagle Pictures, and starring Giuseppe Battiston and Claudia Gerini, the Italian remake of the Spanish movie The Body will hit Italian cinemas at the end of November
Il corpo by Vincenzo Alfieri marks another co-production between Sony Pictures International Productions and Eagle Pictures, following their first collaboration last year in the form of Hotspot – Amore Senza Rete by Giulio Manfredonia (read our news).

The sudden death of charming and charismatic enterpreneur Rebecca Zuin (Claudia Gerini) casts a shadow over those who were close to her. When her body disappears without a trace from the morgue, Inspector Cosser (Giuseppe Battiston) is responsible for solving this case which immediately becomes complicated. Suspicion falls on her young husband, Bruno Forlan (Andrea Di Luigi), but everyone who was close to her seems to have had a motive to want her dead. Inspector Cosser, however, has his own very clear ideas on what might have happened…
