The European Film Awards announce their nominees in the Animated Feature Film category

- The films by Gints Zilbalodis, Kristina Dufková, Claude Barras, Isabel Herguera and Fernando Trueba and Javier Mariscal vie for the award
The European Film Academy revealed the nominees of the category European Animated Feature Film category at the European Film Awards. As the Academy aims to equally recognise the achievements and contributions of animation films for European film culture, the nominated films in this category are also eligible for the European Film category from this year on.
The committee which decided on the nominations was comprised of representatives of the European Film Academy and CARTOON, the European Association for Animation Film. The nomination committee will be presented on the awards' site after the publication of the nominations. The nominations of the European Film, European Director, European Actress, European Actor, European Screenwriter and European Documentary categories will be made public on 5 November. The members of the European Film Academy will then vote for the winners, who will be announced on 7 December in Lucerne, during this year's awards ceremony.
