European Film Schools in Bologna

by

The Italian premiere of the Danish film Reconstruction, (winner of the Caméra d'Or at Cannes 2003) will be opening the 2nd edition of Officinema tonight. The review is being held in Bologna until November 26. It is a showcase for independent productions as well as the Italian first works released this year. And it’s also a chance to see European authors of the future, with the Exhibition of European Film Schools, now in its 6th edition. This event will feature 30 graduate films from 18 European schools - including works from the prestigious institutions in Copenhagen, Berlin, and Lodz – which will be open to public and screened at the Cinema Lumière. There are 34 works in the competition sections ("Visioni italiane" and "Visioni Doc") ranging from short and medium length films. Then there’s a special review of "Cinema Debuts", which will be presenting the best Italian feature length film debutants from the last season.
