- The REC Tarragona Film Festival's development lab launches new initiatives and offers a selection of films on the Panoramica VOD platform

RECLab, a laboratory to developing and promoting film projects linked to the REC – Tarragona International Film Festival, celebrates its tenth anniversary with a series of initiatives that highlight its impact on emerging cinema and reinforce its commitment to the audiovisual industry.
The main actions commemorating a decade of promoting emerging cinema include three new tools designed to strengthen its mission of connecting talent and industry players in innovative ways: RECMatch, RECVision and RECPush. These initiatives aim to expand opportunities for creators in national and international markets, as well as to influence audience creation (with RECVision), open to promoting and exhibiting projects that want to create new audiences.
Also, in collaboration with the Panoramica VOD platform, the film festival has created a special programme featuring a selection of films developed under RECLab over the past decade. This unique programme, entitled RECLab10!, is available to view online internationally, offering audiences the chance to rediscover major titles from recent independent cinema (for more information, visit the official REC Festival and Panoramica VOD websites).
Additionally, a special exhibition highlights RECLab's achievements over its first ten years, showcasing the projects supported, key collaborations, and its evolution as an essential platform for emerging filmmakers. This exhibition allows the public and professionals in the sector to appreciate the significance of the laboratory’s work.
Through these initiatives, RECLab reaffirms its position as a benchmark for independent cinema in Spain and beyond, while looking to the future with the goal of continuing to support new generations of filmmakers and expanding their reach to wider audiences.
