The Brussels International Fantastic Film Market (BIF Market) is set to make a return for its ninth edition this spring, running from 14-18 April at Brussels Expo. Supported by the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF), this premier professional market dedicated to genre cinema continues to serve as the beating heart of the fantastic film industry, bringing together visionaries and professionals from around the globe.

The BIF Market has established itself as far more than a conventional film market. It functions as a dynamic ecosystem where ideas circulate rapidly and meaningful connections form through a shared passion for fantastic films, horror, sci-fi and thrillers. Each year, the event draws over 300 professionals representing 25 countries, creating a melting pot of creativity and opportunity.

This year's programme emphasises international collaboration and innovation across the full genre spectrum. The schedule features two cornerstone events, with special attention being paid to the Belgian Day on 18 April. This spotlight on local talent includes the Belgian Fantastic Pitchbox, offering a platform for domestic creators to showcase their projects alongside professional speed-dating sessions and a debate on sustainability in film production.

Accreditations for the ninth edition are now open. Industry professionals can attend in person, or participate online from 8 April-3 May, for extended networking opportunities.

To secure accreditation and learn more about this year's programme, please visit the official BIF Market website.
