First Summer triumphs in Cannes' La Cinef Selection
- CANNES 2025: South Korea's Heo Gayoung wins the first prize and China's Qu Zhizheng wins the second prize ; Japan's Miki Tanaka and Estonia's Natalia Mirzoyan also in the awards list
The Short Films and La Cinef jury presided by Maren Ade and comprised of Camélia Jordana, José María Prado García, Reinaldo Marcus Green and Nebojša Slijepčević has awarded the La Cinef Prizes at the 78th Cannes Film Festival. La Cinef consisted of 16 student films, chosen out of 2 679 films entries coming from 646 film schools around the world.

Third Prize (ex-aequo)
