Written by the filmmaker, the script centres on a man frustrated by his life who will become friends with a dog as he goes back to school to try and reinvent himself.

Watch The Dog is produced by Agnès Vallée and Emmanuel Barraux for 31 Juin Films and Les Films du Parc and co-produced by Le Pacte (who will handle French distribution and international sales). Pre-bought by Canal+ and Ciné+, the feature is also supported by a pool from Sofica (Indéfilms, La Banque Postale Image, Palatine Etoile, Cinémage, Cofimage, Cinécap, Cinéaxe and Sansofica). The 33 days of shooting will take place in Paris and in Ile-de-France until July.
