The Milanese theatre, the Anteo Cinema is synonymous with quality European films. The film centre in Milan also has a bookshop and an exhibition area and on November 28 in Prague it was awarded for the Best Programme of Quality European Films by the Europa Cinemas chain. The award is given to the cinema operator who is involved in the EU project and has shown the best results for its programming of European films and for the number of screenings it offers. During 2002, 88% of the Anteo Cinema programme was made up of European films.
