Written by Agnès Jaoui in collaboration with Emmanuel Salinger, Laurent Jaoui, Noé Debré and Florence Seyvos, the story takes us behind the scenes of an ambitious staging of the opera The Marriage of Figaro where tensions mount following an accusation of sexual assault, jeopardising the entire production and forcing everyone to take a stand. Conflicts of opinion and generational divides ensue…

Au temps pour nous is being produced by François Kraus and Denis Pineau-Valencienne on behalf of Les Films du Kiosque, in co-production with StudioCanal (who are also steering distribution in France and world sales), France 2 Cinéma and Belgian firm Versus Production. Pre-purchased by Canal+, Ciné+ OCS and France Télévisions, the feature film also enjoys support from the Sud region, the department of Vaucluse, Procirep and Angoa, Inver Tax Shelter, O'Brother Distribution and from the SOFICA companies Indéfilms, Cofimage, La Banque Postale Image and SofitvCiné. Filming kicked off on 19 May in Luberon and Paris, with David Chizallet (awarded the 2016 Lumière in his speciality for Mustang [+see also:

For the record, Les Films du Kiosque are also currently overseeing post-production on Mi Amor by Guillaume Nicloux (toplined by Pom Klementieff, Benoît Magimel and Freya Mavor).
