), centres on a young woman whose seemingly perfect life is upended by an unexpected marriage proposal.

Torn between societal expectations and personal desire, protagonist Mathilda – played by Carla Sehn – finds herself entangled in professional pressures and a secret affair. Helmed by Felix Herngren (Bonus Family [+see also:

), Måns Herngren (The Restaurant) and Adam Pålsson (Meaning of Life), the show promises to balance emotional depth with biting humour, and features a supporting cast including David Dencik, Simon Reithner and Rakel Wärmländer.

The deal is part of a broader slate unveiled by Viaplay Content Distribution, which also includes the 6x35 series Suburbia, a savage suburban comedy from Henrik Schyffert, and the 8x28 show The Second Run, a warm character comedy set in a ski resort. All three projects are produced by Swedish outfit FLX, a key player in the Scandinavian scripted landscape.

"These titles are a testament to the strength of Nordic dramedy and comedy, which increasingly resonates globally," said Vanda Rapti, EVP of Viaplay Select & Content Distribution.

Finally, Joshua Mehr, CEO of FLX, added: "Viaplay Content Distribution has been a driving force in taking our shows beyond the Nordics. We’re thrilled to keep that momentum going."

Viaplay, which underwent major restructuring in 2023, continues to expand its international catalogue, with the support of trusted partners such as FLX.
