EXCLUSIVE: Trailer for Locarno Kids title The Badgers
- Paul Magnus Lundø’s pic follows 11-year-old Berny who moves in with his foster mother and dreams of becoming a legacy scout like his father

Orphaned 11-year-old Berny, who moves in with his foster mother, Gerdy, dreams of becoming a legacy scout like his father. Gerdy forbids it, but he joins the Badgers, nonetheless, led by traditionalist Gunnar. When Gerdy steps in as co-leader, she cancels the competition which Berny has signed up for. But Gunnar secures one final contest. Berny cheats using his father’s old uniform, sparking tensions, and as Gerdy and Gunnar clash over their conflicting visions of scouting, Berny must choose between winning and doing what’s right. In the end, he confesses and gives up the trophy to save the troop.
