As the summer holidays approach, she receives an unexpected message. A past she thought she had erased resurfaces, questioning and jeopardising the balance of her new life…
Produced by Pierre Guyard for Nord-Ouest Films, Une autre histoire is co-produced by Arte France Cinéma and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Cinéma. Also pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+/OCS, the feature also benefits from the support of Sofica Cofimage, Cinécap, Imagelium, Entourage, Cinéventure, and Palatine Étoile. The seven weeks of filming, which will take place in France and England with Sébastien Buchmann (the director's loyal collaborator and nominated for the 2023 Lumière Award in his field for The Passengers of the Night) as director of photography, will end on 31 October. Pyramide will handle the French theatrical release, and Charades will oversee international sales.
As a reminder, Nord-Ouest Films will release Hélène Medigue’s Une place pour Pierrot (starring Marie Gillain and Grégory Gadebois) in cinemas on 10 September. Its recent credits also include The Balconettes [+see also:
