Born for the main goal of launching new directors into the Italian cinema landscape, the company founded by Oscar winner Paolo Sorrentino with his wife and children, Numero 10, will produce Föa, its first film directed by a young filmmaker, Margherita Ferrari. Shooting will begin soon and will take place for five weeks between Rome and Genoa.

Written by Margherita Ferrari, Anita Della Cioppa and Veronica Penserini, Föa (a word that, in the Genoa dialect, means “fable” or “story”) is set in Genoa, on 20 July 2001, during the protests against the G8 summit. Nicole is 18 and eight months pregnant. Alone at home, unaware of the unrest, she opens her door to protesters on the run. In the background, we hear the noise of the street, during a day that will mark history and a generation. Various fictional films and documentaries have been dedicated to these crucial and controversial events, such as Diaz - Don't Clean Up this Blood [+see also:

Previously, she had also presented her mini-series Riders (2019) at Alice nella città.
