Despite his best efforts to remain in the shadows, Moulin is betrayed and then delivered to the Gestapo in Lyon, headed up by the merciless Klaus Barbie (Lars Eidinger). He suffers relentless torture, but doesn’t give in. His silent determination helps to galvanise Resistance forces and to bring about a new fighting spirit and thirst for freedom in France…
Moulin is being produced by Alain Goldman on behalf of Pitchipoï Productions and Montmartre Films, in co-production with TF1 Films Productions. Pre-purchased by Disney+ and HBO Max, the feature film will be distributed in France by Studio TF1 and is sold worldwide by US firm 193 Legendary. The director is reuniting with his usual partner in crime Mátyás Erdély for the film’s photography.
