, who is participating as both a screenwriter and a director, preparing her next project alongside her team.

The programme also includes individual meetings with Greek-Cypriot screenwriter and director Elias Demetriou, as well as sessions led by Isabelle Fauvel, a veteran script and project consultant with extensive experience in European training initiatives. Participants will gain an insight into film commissions and production support through presentations and one-on-one consultations with Venia Vergou, European Film Commission Network manager, and Neoklis Mantas, head of the Hellenic Film Commission.

Sustainability in filmmaking is addressed through an online seminar with film commissioner Alberto Battocchi and Linnea Merzagora, project manager at Green Film, highlighting practical approaches to implementing environmentally responsible production practices.

Supported by Creative Europe – MEDIA, the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) and the Hellenic Film & Audiovisual Center (EKKOMED), and held in collaboration with major film institutions in Greece and abroad, the workshops benefit from the strong support of the municipalities of Nisyros and Astypalea. The islands provide an inspiring setting for creative work, combining natural beauty with a concentrated professional environment conducive to script development and networking.
