Javier Ruiz Caldera shooting his new comedy Cinco minutos más
- Belén Cuesta, Javier Cámara and Berto Romero, who also co-writes, star in the Movistar Plus+ original about the end of the world, produced by Ikiru Films and El Terrat (The Mediapro Studio)

Cinco minutos más tells the story of a couple in crisis who decide to spend a weekend as rural tourists in an isolated house in the countryside. There, they meet an agent who shows them around and hands over the keys. But before he leaves them alone, something extraordinary happens: the entire world falls into a time loop. The final five minutes repeat over and over, as if a record needle were skipping. This is the premise of the Movistar Plus+ original, written by and starring Berto Romero, which began shooting last week in Girona, directed by Javier Ruiz Caldera.
The film marks another collaboration between the filmmaker and the comedian, one of his regular partners, whom he has directed in the series The Other Side [+see also:
