Hélène Rosselet-Ruiz has been shooting her debut feature film, Le triangle d’or, since 20 October. A graduate of La Fémis with six short films under her belt (including Les reines du mambo, Ibiza and Les mains sales), the director has chosen two young rising stars for the movie’s lead roles, namely Malou Khebizi (nominated for the Best Newcomer César and Lumière awards in 2025 via Wild Diamond [+see also:

), the story revolves around Laura who’s hired to help Souria, a rich, young Saudi woman who lives in a luxurious apartment in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, before the former joins the army. In this gilded prison, Laura and Souria each try to escape their condition in their own way. But something unexpected happens between these two women who, to all intents and purposes, are polar opposites…

Le triangle d’or is being produced by Marie-Ange Luciani on behalf of Les Films de Pierre, in co-production with France 2 Cinéma, MK Productions, Belgian firm Les Films du Fleuve and Canada’s 9245-1236 Québec Inc. Pre-purchased by Canal+, Ciné+ OCS and France Télévisions, the feature film also enjoys support from the Gan Film Foundation, Procirep-Angoa and the SOFICA company Cofinova.
