The 3 Continents Festival Audience Award goes to Attachment
- Viewers at the Nantes-based festival dedicated to film production from Africa, Latin America and Asia crowned Mamadou Khouma Gueye’s documentary their champion

Three European co-productions feature on the winners list of the 47th 3 Continents Festival, which unspooled in Nantes between 21 and 29 November boasting a record number of attendees (23,000 viewers). And the audience decided to honour Mamadou Khouma Gueye’s first feature film, the documentary Attachment (Liti Liti), which is produced by Senegal, Belgium and France.

World sales are entrusted to Wawkumba Film (Senegal).
For its part, the international competition jury (including France’s India Hair, Brazil’s Tatiana Leite, Iran’s Sina Ataeian Dena and Colombia’s Franco Lolli) singled out Yoon Ga-eun’s South Korean fiction title The World of Love (presented in Toronto’s Platform section and selected to compete in Warsaw) as its winner, as well as awarding the Silver Balloon to the documentary Hair, Paper, Water… [+see also:
