film profile], will be produced by the Légende company, led by Alain Goldman. When the project was first announced it was in the hands of Nord-Ouest Production, but it has now joined Alain Goldman’s stable, which has already produced I fiumi di porpora.

After working on relations with StudioCanal for Légende Entreprises, Alain Goldman went on to set up a new company: Légende. This is the firm which will now be joining the production of Babylon Babies.

The film is written by Maurice G.Dantec, and is about the misadventures of the hero from Sirena Rossa (which has already been adapted for the screen by Olivier Megaton and starring Jean-Marc Barr in the main role). It features occult links between the mafia and the army, international trafficking in the biotechnology market, all set in the former eastern Bloc countries. This is Mathieu Kassovitz’s sixth feature length film and it is full of promise. At the moment the cast and the shooting dates are being kept top secret, but one thing is for sure, the director has thought of his friend and star of almost all his films for the main role: Vincent Cassel.
