film profile] (“You Living Person”). "Human beings are fascinating to other human beings" is the idea at the heart of the film produced by the director’s company, Roy Andersson Produktion. The set will be in Stockholm and the film should be released in Sweden in May 2006.
The SFI funding round for November and December has also awarded SKR4.8m for the debut film by Kristina Humle, produced by Memfis Film (Jalla Jalla!, Together). The project produced by Lars Jönsson and Rebecka Lafrenz is described as a 'comic and tender film about the search for love and oneself, see through the story of 19 year old Minna. The film still hasn’t got a title, but it should be ready by November 2004.
Rebecka Lafrenz’s Memfis Film has also been given SKR 750,000 for the short film Fragile, which will be directed by Jens Jonsson. It’s about Sonja, who works on the trains. The short is currently being filmed and should be ready for January 2004.
