European Film Promotion recently announced Europe's hottest actors to be present on 12th & 13th February 2005 at Berlin International Film Festival. For the 8th consecutive year EFP will present, with the financial support of the MEDIA Programme of the EU and EFP member organizations, 21 of the most exciting emerging actors from across Europe.

The Shooting Stars will attend a series of special events during the opening weekend of the 55th Berlin International Film Festival, which aim to focus the attention of the international industry, media and public on the extraordinary talent that exists in European filmmaking.
The Shooting Stars will be given the opportunity to network with film and casting directors and agents at an industry breakfast; will be introduced to the world’s media at an international press conference; and will receive the Studio Hamburg Shooting Stars Award in recognition of their artistic talent – presented by festival director Dieter Kosslick on the main stage of the Berlinale Palace. The celebration of up-and-coming talent will culminate in an exclusive Shooting Stars gala reception hosted by EFP and attended by film industry, celebrity and VIP guests.
