Non Stop pick ups in Berlin

The Stockholm-based Scandinavian distribution company Non Stop Entertainment has had a very busy market at the last Berlin Film festival, acquiring five titles including the Silver Bear winner for Best music The Beat That My Heart Skipped [+see also:

The French film directed by Jacques Audiard was one of two titles bought from Celluloid Dreams with the US independent film Me And You And Everyone We Know, winner of a Special Jury Prize for originality at the last Sundance Film Festival. Both films will be distributed by NonStop Entertainment in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.

The distribution arm of the Millennium Media Group also acquired two debut feature films: the French drama Me And My Sister (Les soeurs fâchées) by first time director Alexandra Leclère, bought from Studio Canal, and the US independent film Heights, by Chris Terrio bought from Global Cinema Group. Produced by Merchant Ivory Productions, Heights describes the lives of five people (played among others by Glenn Close and Isabella Rossellini) on a summer day in New York.
The fifth title bought in Berlin is the South-Korean horror film R-Point by writer/director Su-Chang Kong. NonStop Entertainment will distribute R Point and Heights in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Iceland, and Me And My Sister in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
