The biggest Italian cinema ever opens today
UGC Ciné Cité opens this Friday 25th of February in Rome Fiumicino. This structure, with 24 screens, is now the biggest in Italy. UGC Ciné Cité settles in a new service area in full expansion, the Parco Leonardo, one of the biggest project in the recent history of urbanisation in Italy.
Ciné Cité Parco Leonardo is the most ambitious project ever undertaken on the Old Continent by UGC, the European cinema group, for it offers 24 screens, that is, more than 6000 seats within the huge building conceived by Alberto Cattani.
The UGC board of directors count on one and a half million spectators per year, and point out that the stucture will not only screen blockbusters, but that it will garantee a visibility for all films released in Italy, including art films and documentaries. Each film will last stay longer on the program, and some premieres, meetings with film-makers, exhibitions will be organised.
