by

Kenneth Plummer, Executive Vice President of Egmont Group and MD of Egmont Nordisk is leaving the company for Danish Broadcasting Corporation where he will take the position of Director General from 1 October 2005.
Plummer had been with the Copenhagen-based media group since 1999 and supervised the merger of Egmont Entertainment with Nordisk Film in 2002. Commenting on his new post and departure from Egmont, Plummer said: “To head Denmark’s largest provider of public service TV, radio and online content is a unique opportunity. I have accepted it because it is one of those chances that you only get once in your life. However, it is with great sadness that I leave Egmont and Nordisk Film. I have been proud and honored to lead the transformation of Nordisk Film into a strong player that I feel confident will carry on successfully without me”.
