by polish filmmaker Pawel Pawlikowski will be the closing film from the second IndieLisboa, the independent film festival of Lisbon, which will be focusing this year both on the Chinese director Jia Zhang-Ke and on Argentinean independent film.

With My Summer of Love, awarded in the BAFTAS and winner of best editing in the last Edinburgh Film Festival, Pawel Pawlikowski is back to the Portuguese screens, after his previous film The Last Resort. This story of a friendship between to girls from different social backgrounds was widely acclaimed by British critics.
The festival's second edition is also the occasion to discover six new Portuguese short films. Though the official programme is only due to be revealed on March 21, the "Onda Curta" jury has already been announced: João Garção Borges (author and coordinator of "Onda Curta", a TV show consecrated to short films), Paolo Manera (Italian critic) and Clémentine Mourão-Ferreira (coordinator of the Party of French Film). The international jury will include Ilda Santiago (director of the Rio de Janeiro Film Festival), Beatriz Batarda (actress whose last film performance was A Costa dos Murmúrios, Margarida Cardoso's film based on the novel by Lídia Jorge), Lisandro Alonso (Argentinian filmmaker) and Kieron Corless (British journalist from "Time Out London").
