Dario Argento’s triumph in Brussels

Dario Argento has just won an award at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival for Do You Like Hitchcock, a film produced for a television series dedicated to the British master of suspense.
The film, introduced as a ‘special event’, received the best acclaim and was granted an award as Best Suspense Thriller. ‘I wanted, says the director, to make a movie the entire world could enjoy, not just Italy —a film with no place and no time.’

The Italian director’s new project is entitled Jennifer ; it is a horror film adapted from a book by Bruce Jones and Bernie Wrightson. This movie will be part of a series of features entitled ‘Masters Of Horror’, a common project uniting Showtime Networks, IDT Entertainment, Industry Entertainment, and Nice Guy Productions. The series will consist in 13 titles (besides Dario Argento, John Carpenter, George Romero, and Tobe Hooper will also participate) distributed all over the world by Entertainment Sales.
