Three Bad Men do business

Priority Picture’ comedy thriller Three Bad Men starring Woody Harrelson, Brendan Fraser and Simon Pegg has just been sold by Arclight Films to Pathé in the UK and Falcom Media in Germany. The film directed by Paul Weiland (Roseanna’s Grave, City Slickers 2) and scripted by Peter Straughan, tells the story of three hit men on the run who decide to change their lives for the better. The film which will start shooting in late May both in Canada and in the UK, is produced by Colin Leventhal and Marion Pilowsky’s Priority Pictures and Anthony Minghella and Sydney Pollack’s Mirage Enterprises, with Canada’s Remstar as co-producer.

Three Bad Men is the first film produced by Priority Pictures set up last July by Marion Pilowsky, former Head of European productions at Myriad Pictures, and Colin Leventhal, previously co-chairman of Miramax’s UK production arm HAL. Leventhal is also currently consultant to UK tax specialist Grosvernor Park.
Priority Pictures’ other projects include Nina’s Heavenly Delights, the directorial debut of music and documentary filmmaker Pratibha Parmar. The film starring Shelley Conn (Down To Earth) and Laura Fraser (A Knight’s Tale) is a comedy about a young Indo-Scottish girl who returns to Glasgow to run her recently deceased father’s curry restaurant. The film produced by Priority Pictures and Bard Entertainments in the UK is currently shooting on location in Glasgow. International sales are handled by Fortissimo Film Sales.
