The shooting of El ratón Pérez, a film produced by Fimax and argentinian company Patagonik will start in May. Directed by Juan Pablo Buscarini and produced by Pablo Bossi, based on an original by Enrique Cortes, the feature film will mix real image and animation, in order to create Pérez mouse, the hero of the story. The character will be entirely created in 3D animation and then digitally integrated in real sets with real actors.

The film, based on a short story written by a priest, Luis Coloma, in 1870, will demand a long postproduction process. The Spanish premiere will be in March 2006. Argentina and the rest of Latin America will watch in July next year.
