by

Nordisk Film’s new comedy Lotto directed by Peter Schrøder and ASA Film’s Far til Fire by Claus Bjerre have been awarded respectively DK 6.8m and DK6.6m by the Danish Film Institute (DFI) as part of their 60/40 production support scheme.
Written by Anne-Marie Olesen, Lars Mering and Ina Bruhnl, Lotto is the story of Jørgen, whose sense of friendship and morality is put to test the day he has to share DK 3 million lottery money with his friends. In the lead roles are Søren Pilmark, Ditte Gråbøl as well as Nikolaj Kopernikus and Claus Bue. Produced by Monica Steenberg for Nordisk Film, Lotto will start filming at the end of May and will be released in Denmark in 2006.
Also shooting in May, Far til Fire is produced by Henrik Møller-Sørensen for ASA Film with Scanbox and Easy Film. The updated film adaptation of the eponymous children book is written by Thomas Glud, Claus Bjerre and Tine Frellesen.
