CANNES 2005 MARKET UK

Intramovies cries end of Mifed

The Rome-based sales company has the world premiere of two Italian films at the market: Massimo Andrei’s Mater Natura and Ugo Fabrizio Giordani’s Promessa d’amore (Promise of Love) as well as a market premiere of Argentinian film Junacito by Hector Olivera.
Mater Natura is the story of a beautiful travestite who quits streetwork for a ‘normal’ life after having met Andrea, unaware that he is going to marry another woman very soon. «The film should work with festivals and general audiences» said Corvino.
Promise of Love produced by Leading Pictures is a romantic comedy starring Ettore Bassi, Chiara Conti and Catherine Spaak.
Also on Intramovies’ catalogue is the Finnish black comedy Flowers & Binding (Kukkia ja sidontaa) produced by Kinotauru Oy Production and the Dutch thriller Ellektra by Rudolf Mestdagh also screening at the Cannes market.
