Victory for the American Miranda July
Having already been honoured at the latest Sundance Festival, the American woman Miranda July won the Grand Prix in the 44th International Critics Week for her first feature Me and you and everyone we know. The film is being sold internationally by the French company Celluloïd Dreams and will be distributed in France by MK2.
Among the Europeans in line for a prize in the feature competition, only the French woman Karin Albou saved the blushes with a joint award for the screenplay of Little Jerusalem, while the Dutch film Jona/Tomberry by Rosto won the Canal + prize for best short film.
