Johanna was indeed bought by Metro Tartan for UK, Ama Films for Greece and Ost For Paradise for Denmark, but Philippe Bober’s team also sold it to the USA, to Russia, to Korea and to Canada.

On the other hand, Battle in Heaven, produced by the French Société Parisienne de Production notably with the Germans of Essential and the Belgians of Tarantula as co-producers, attracted many European buyers: Bac films (France), Lucky Red (Italy), Ama (Greece), Lumière (Belgium), Look Now! (Switzerland), Atalanta (Portugal), Filmmuseum (Netherlands) and Metro Tartan (UK and USA). Also to be mentioned some sales for Russia, Canada and Korea.
