Ischia, a cinema lesson in Visconti’s villa

For the third Ischia Film Festival (an international contest focused on film locations) some Italian masters and young students in cinema will meet at the ‘Piccionaia’, villa in Ischia where Luchino Visconti shot The Leopard and other masterpieces.
This ‘Campus’, organised in collaboration with the ‘La Colombaia’ Foundation and the NUCT (New Film and Television University), based within the Cinecittà, will take place from the 21st to the 25th of June. Amongst the masters who will come and teach, there is the Oscar-winning script-writer Osvaldo Desideri (The Last Emperor), the director Carlo Lizzani, the documentary filmmaker Gianfranco Pannone, as well as two famous Italian comedy script-writers, Giacomo and Furio Scarpelli.
For thirty hours, all fields of film creation will be dealt with : directing, editing, script-writing, artistic direction, picture, and music. Application forms can be submitted until the 10th of June.
