On the 30th of May, the Spanish Arts and Film Academy is launching a series of debates and screenings entitled ‘Dialogues on the Cinema’. This interactive event will allow professionals of all generations to exchange ideas on the way they see their work and do it and share them with the public, who is invented to join in these meetings. The screenings, supported by the Ibercaja foundation, will take place at the Cinestudio of the Madrid Fine-Arts Club every last Monday of each month.
Each meeting will consist in comparing the personal and technical experience of older professionals with that of younger ones who are in the same trade. The film chosen to complement the meeting will be screened twice, before and after the discussion, so as to make it more flexible for the public. The first discussion, scheduled for Monday the 30th, will present two guests : director Luis García Berlanga, and actor Santiago Segura.
