Irish writer/director Marion Comer who made a convincing feature debut with Boxed in 2002, is working on her new project 48 Angels which she is producing with Robert Medema for Reflected Light Production.
Set to start filming in Ireland next July, the film stars Brendan Mackey (Touching The Void) and John Travers (Song For a Raggy Boy).
Nine year old Seamus, diagnosed with a terminal disease, sets out to find God before God comes for him. On his quest, he meets 14 year old James, a traumatized adolescent, and Darry in his mid thirties, a protestant hard liner who finds it difficult to accept the new political thinking in Northern Ireland.
